Stone Valley Residence
This 1,200-square-foot, two-bedroom accessory dwelling unit was designed for a property in Alamo, nestled at the rear of the site and surrounded by mature oak and redwood trees. The client envisioned a space that would enhance the natural vitality of the landscape while remaining sensitive to its existing features.

A creek meanders through the property, requiring a thoughtful survey of both the waterway and surrounding trees. The design was carefully developed to preserve all natural elements, integrating the ADU seamlessly into its environment.
Inside, the ADU features a modern kitchen with warm wood finishes that echo the surrounding forest palette. Expansive glazing and thoughtfully placed windows frame views of the trees and creek, bringing in natural light.
