Castilian Residence
This residential remodel and home addition transforms an existing three-bedroom, two-bathroom house into a more functional four-bedroom, three-bathroom home designed around contemporary living.
To expand the home while making better use of the existing floor plan, two new bedrooms were added to the front of the house. One of the original bedrooms was then reimagined as a spacious walk-in closet for the primary suite, creating a more comfortable and private retreat while maintaining an efficient overall layout.
At the heart of the home, the kitchen and main living spaces were redesigned to create a more open and connected environment.

Existing walls separating the kitchen from the living areas were removed, allowing the spaces to flow naturally into one another. The new open-concept layout improves circulation, brings more openness into the home, and creates a modern setting for everyday living and entertaining.
A new defined entry foyer with dedicated shoe storage was also introduced to create a smoother transition between indoors and outdoors.

The renovation brings together home addition, interior remodeling, space planning, kitchen remodeling, and primary suite design to create a home that feels more spacious and functional to the way the family lives today.
